Application:

The customer was using a hand held device with an elastomeric keypad. The original design used a thin polycarbonate label to identify the key functions. The device would often be placed in a holster or pocket and the keys would get torn off rendering the device useless. What was needed was an overlay with enough thickness to protect the rubber keys.

The solution was a domed graphic overlay. The naturally beveled edge of the overlay protects the keys and prevent them from being caught or torn. A barcoded control number was also added at the request of the client.
